Convention’s just around the corner: Ottawa, August 18: CEP’s October national convention is just around the corner and most Locals should by now have elected their delegates. At national office, preparations are well underway: Guest speakers have been booked, policy and other convention documents, including the book of resolutions, are at the printer. All delegates will receive a copy of the resolutions at least one month prior to the convention.
The Officers’ Report Committee will meet to review the Executive Board Report the week of September 15th , and report on its findings at convention. The deadline for credentials letters is August 27th and for hotel reservations it’s September 15th.
Mobilize! – That’s the theme of CEP’s 8th National Convention at the Palais des Congrès in Montreal, October 26-30, and it’s all hands on deck as preparations get underway.
